Established in 1993, Lydd Kart Circuit is the fastest for outdoor Go Karting in Kent and one of the fastest in the Country. The 1040 meter track is very popular with drivers, whether they be ‘Owner Drivers’ racing their own karts or ‘Arrive & Drive’ customers using our Hire Karts.
At Lydd Kart Circuit we are always striving to make our track not only the fastest but the safest too. We have state-of-the-art trackside technology which enables us to warn our hire-kart customers and owner-kart drivers with the fastest warning system possible with our circuit-wide digital flags and radio communications between all of our marshal posts.
Our investment isn’t just on track, we have built up the best facilities possible for our clients. We have a large modern club building boasting of immaculate toilet blocks, shower facilities and café to help make everyone who visits Lydd Kart Circuit comfortable. Our circuit and paddock is monitored by CCTV and the whole site is secured with perimeter fencing making it a safe and secure circuit.
We host owner driver monthly club race meetings providing drivers with the chance to go racing in a friendly family atmosphere. Also for owner drivers we can offer (subject to availability) one-to-one tuition, kart preparation and kart storage.
Our Hire Kart fleet ranges from Bambino (available for kids of 6 years and over, provided they are at least 1 meter tall), through to single-engine Cadet and Junior chassis to twin-engine ProKarts for the Adults (You must be 17 years old and over, proof of ID may be requested when you sign on for an adult hire kart).

Our Diner is open to the public and karter's for breakfast and lunch. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and during school holidays.
You don’t need to be karting to enjoy a meal or a drink, whether you are looking for a light snack or a meal there is something for everyone, including vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.
